It also pairs well with other desserts \u2013 like a classic chocolate brownie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Serves: 4 people<br>Preparation time: 5 minutes<br>Cooking time: 10 minutes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>20g butter<br>1 tbs brown sugar<br>\u00bd cup raw walnuts, chopped<br>Vanilla ice-cream to serve<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Caramel sauce<\/strong><br><br>1 cup cream<br>1 cup brown sugar, extra<br>60g butter, extra chopped<br>1 tsp vanilla paste<br>\u00bc tsp sea salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Heat butter and brown sugar in a small frying pan. Cook walnuts over medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until caramelised. Lift out with a slotted spoon and cool. Discard remaining butter mixture.<\/li><li>Place cream, extra brown sugar and butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 4-5 minutes or until thickened. Add vanilla pasta and sea salt.<\/li><li>Serve warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice-cream.
