The <\/a>Spike Championship has come to a close, and what a competition it\u2019s been! To celebrate, we\u2019re taking a look back on some of your finest energy-saving moments as well as announcing the grand prize winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to everyone who competed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve seen some incredible energy flexes over the past four months with star studded entries from the likes of Nazeem Hussain, Geva Mentor, Rory Sloane, Karen From Finance and, in a final dash to the finish line, Sam Wood<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the stars inspired, the competition was stiff between Aussie households as people shared their creative energy hacks to try and take out the hotly contested weekly Instagram competitions. We saw everything from family game nights by candlelight, to luscious spots to unwind and even low-energy meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 
Our Spike community showed up in numbers week in and week out. We saw almost one thousand entries from our competitors demonstrating their most creative energy-saving hacks and habits to try their hand at one of the 37 prizes up for grabs throughout the competition. Did we mention there were an incredible 38,948 major prize entries too?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, there can only be one winner to take home the grand prize – a Tesla Model 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, without further ado, drum roll please…

Get ready to rev your engine because you\u2019ve been crowned the ultimate Spike Champ and are now the owner of a brand-new Tesla Model 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And who better for the job than our friend Karen From Finance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working hard behind the scenes – and only occasionally getting distracted by her reflection in the rear-view mirror – Karen\u2019s been scrubbing and shining our Tesla prize so that it\u2019s spick and span for the lucky winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
