Lowering emissions.<br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>Origin Energy is working towards a net zero emissions future. One of the ways we\u2019re doing this is by reducing the emissions of gas &#8211; which plays a crucial supporting role in transitioning from more emission-intensive sources of energy to a renewable generation.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s our plan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduce \u2013 we\u2019re aiming to lower our carbon emissions by exploring more sustainable operating practices.<\/li>\n<li>Remove \u2013 we&#8217;ll continue to explore carbon capture and storage (CCS) and other carbon negative technologies, to help make them work on a technical and commercial basis.<\/li>\n<li>Reimagine \u2013 we\u2019re helping reimagine energy products. One of these products is hydrogen.
