We\u2019ll be conducting a $3.2 million feasibility study into building an export scale renewable energy plant in Tasmania\u2019s Bell Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s some things to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under the current proposal, the 500+ megawatt plant would produce more than 420,000 tonnes of ammonia per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ammonia is a carrier for hydrogen, whose potential uses include electricity generation and fuel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some of the ammonia produced will be made available domestically to support Tasmania\u2019s decarbonisation ambitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By exploring this renewable energy plant, we&#8217;re not only seeking to create cleaner energy for our customers, but helping to play a part in creating wider change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to find out more?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Origin, we&#8217;re exploring ways to work towards clean energy.
